Many dangerous substances, when properly controlled, provide great benefits to humankind. Handling them carelessly can result in tragedy. If you or someone you love has been injured by a toxic substance, call the DinizuluLawGroup®  today. Put our knowledge and experience to work for you.

Toxic Substances

We have handled a wide range of toxic tort lawsuits, including claims involving:

  • Mercury poisoning
  • Dangerous household products
  • Sulfuric acid
  • Pesticides
  • Asbestos
  • Uranium
  • Hydrogen Sulfide
  • Water contamination

Hydrogen Sulfide

A common toxin is hydrogen sulfide, or H2SO4 . Companies store hydrogen sulfide underground, however if they don’t contain it properly, it can leak into the water supply. Exposure to water turns hydrogen sulfide into a toxic gas called methane, and when it travels through the pipes and into homes, it can cause serious injury. Hydrogen Sulfide injury and death can happen when the methane literally causes the home faucet to explode.

Uranium

There are many uranium mines around. Uranium has radioactive particles that are very toxic, and improper or negligent handling can cause exposure, resulting in injury and death. If stored improperly, uranium can seep into and contaminate the groundwater aquifer.
