What the Gas Companies are Supposed to Do

Many gas line pipes are old. They were built in the 40's and 50's, and some of them have not been inspected for leaks or damage. Not only are the pipes old, they are overloaded.

The companies are also supposed to compile and submit reports to the FERC.
